I have to say, again, and I think everyone will agree, that this year was one of the stellarest years for JF in a long time. Thanks to every one who made it down here and chased music all over the city for the last few weeks. The Maple Leaf show was amazing as usual. [...]

The RADS set was off the hook great. They started out boiling and at the end of the day, 7:20, it was spilling over with so much good music and an unexpected happiness that I think it was felt world wide. The Rads were in great spirits and brought their A-game for the last time. [...]

(photo: Peer Munck) This JF is probably my favorite one ever. Maybe it was the weather, which in as long as I can remember, was never this good. Cool days, cooler nights, cool music, cooler music. It all goes together like peanut budder and jelly with some honey on top. And no rain, at all. [...]

It was a great night of plenty of music. Sonny Landreth and his trio played first, us second and Eric Lindell closing [...]

The eyes of the music world focus on New Orleans for two weeks in late April and early May, but not everyone can make it to town to experience 12 stages of virtually every style of music, the plethora of fine arts and crafts and the huge array of Louisiana specialty foods. That’s why organizers [...]

We’re getting pretty excited about this summer tour we have, starting May 27 in Connecticut and ending in mid/late June. It’s all north east coast again. We seem to like it up there and have lots of cool friends and fans that come out and put a face on some good music. We’ve been peeping [...]
