Saturday night we didn’t have as many people sitting in, but we had an equally fulfilling night of music. We actually didn’t get totally full until we had the chocolate shakes at the Weiners Circle, a dirty after hours charbroiled hot dog place (I had a turkey burger).
The BS Brass band opened the show and we had their tuba player sitting in later in the show, but I didn’t catch his name. He can play. Also had Jeff O’ Connor playing some mean bass on a couple songs.
Good stuff coming from the stage last night. We are now driving back to N.O. and remembering and thinking about all the music we threw out there and the laughs we had. Next stop, The 12 Bar on New Years Eve in New Orleans for 2011!
