The fourth stop for Bonerama on the Hard Times Tour was at the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, DC. We learned two things about DC: The Rock and Roll Hotel is not actually a hotel, and Monday night is party night. But seriously, this was a very special show as it was part of the Future Music Coalition Policy Summit taking place at Georgetown University.

Bonerama’s Craig Klein participated as a featured panelist at the Summit in Washington, DC (on October 5), focusing on issues related to the FCC’s policies for music in digital technologies and the Internet. Keynote speakers included Senator Al Franken (D-Minnesota) and FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski. Later that night at the Rock and Roll Hotel, Bonerama hosted a special high energy road edition of “Musicians Bringing Musicians Home” welcoming guests Mike Mills (REM), Wayne Kramer (MC5), Erin McKeown, Nicole Atkins and Martin Perna (Antibalas, Octate Soul Sounds, Dap Kings). Blogger Scott Stead wrote, “-one of the most amazing ‘small shows’ I’ve ever been privy to.”
